• Periodic Inspection & Testing is intended for learners who have previously gained qualifications in Initial Verification, perhaps through a previous course or recognised apprenticeship and wish to expand their skills to include reporting on the condition of existing electrical installations.
• For those who want to gain their JIB graded Gold Card.
• Depending on your experience and what you aim to do as an electrician, you may want to study this to help find work for yourself.
• This electrical course is a simple and effective course aimed at electricians who are aiming to achieve qualifications in periodic inspection and testing as well as initial verifications for newly installed systems.

LTS would expect that candidates have basic understanding of electrical science as well as pertain principles and experience of electrical installation work either within the electrical contracting industry or an allied trade.

Candidate who enrol on the Periodic Inspection and Testing course will:

• You will learn how to inspect, test and certificate all electrical installations within Domestic, Commercial and Industrial environment that comply with 18th edition wiring regulations (BS7671).
• Be able to carry out EICRs in Domestic and Commercial Properties.
• At the end of the course you may wish to carry on your studies by discussing with your course manager what options you have. You will have the option to pay an extra fee to upgrade to another course package.
